The Back Office Audit

Your back office is leaking money. We find it and get it back.

Tarvora's AI reviews your payables, health insurance bills, unemployment claims and vendor contracts. Then our team recovers what you're owed. If we find nothing, you pay nothing.

The gap

Big companies have a team watching every dollar. You have you.

Recovery firms have done this work for large companies for decades. They skip small businesses because a human auditor costs more than a small recovery is worth. AI changed that math.

The problem

Nobody at a small business questions the bills.

Your bookkeeper records what you paid. Your software makes paying easier. Neither goes back to find money you're owed, and recovery firms have minimums you don't meet.

The fix

AI reads every line. Our team chases every dollar.

Tarvora's AI reviews 12 months of statements, invoices and notices across four areas at once. Our team then calls vendors, files with carriers and answers state notices on your behalf.

What we audit

Four places money quietly leaves your business.

One set of documents, four audits. Each finding is checked by a person before you ever see it.

01 · Accounts payable

Money you already paid that you shouldn't have.

We look for
Duplicate payments, vendor credits never applied, early-pay discounts you qualified for but missed.
We do
Verify each item, contact the vendor, get the refund or credit issued.
02 · Health insurance

Premiums for people who no longer work for you.

We look for
Former employees still on the bill, wrong coverage tiers, carrier billing errors.
We do
Match carrier invoices to payroll, file retro credit requests, follow up until applied.
03 · Unemployment tax

Claims nobody contested, raising your rate for years.

We look for
Open or wrongly charged claims, errors in your assigned state unemployment tax rate.
We do
Respond to claims on deadline, dispute wrong charges and rate notices.
04 · Contract renewals

Agreements that renew themselves at a higher price.

We look for
Auto-renewals, price increases, services you pay for and don't use.
We do
Renegotiate or cancel before the renewal date, and hand you a renewal calendar.
How it works

You send documents. We send money back.

01

Send what your bookkeeper already has

12 months of AP, bank and card statements, payroll registers, health insurance invoices, state unemployment notices and a list of recurring vendors. We walk you through each export.

Days 1-3
02

AI reviews, people verify

Tarvora's AI reads every line across all four areas. Our team confirms each finding before it goes on your savings map, so you only see money that is really there.

Days 4-15
03

We recover it, you approve every step

You get your savings map with dollars found in each area. Nothing goes to a vendor, carrier or state agency without your sign-off. Our fee comes out of what we recover.

Days 15-90
Why sooner matters

Some of this money has a clock on it.

01

Carriers limit how far back they credit a missed termination. Every month a former employee stays on the bill, the older months get harder to recover.

02

State unemployment notices usually must be answered within days. A missed response can raise your tax rate for years, not just this one.

03

Most auto-renewals have a cancellation window. Miss it and you're locked in for another term at whatever price they set.

Check eligibility

Five questions. See where we're likely to find money.

Answer yes or no. Your results update as you go.

Do you pay more than 25 vendors or suppliers a year?
Do you offer employees health insurance?
Has anyone left your company in the last 12 months?
Has a former employee filed for unemployment in the last 3 years?
Do you have contracts that renew automatically, like software, leases or services?

The audit is free either way, so there's no downside to checking all four.

Fair questions

What owners ask before they start.

What does this cost?

Nothing upfront. Tarvora keeps an agreed percentage of money we actually recover or save for you. You see the percentage before any recovery work starts. If we find nothing, you owe nothing.

Why would you do this for free?

Because the audit is cheap for us to run. AI does the reading that used to take a team of auditors weeks, which makes small-business audits worth doing. We make money when you do.

What do I need to send?

Twelve months of AP, bank and card statements, payroll registers, health insurance invoices, any state unemployment notices and a list of vendors you pay regularly. Your bookkeeper usually has all of it. We'll walk you through each export.

Will you contact my vendors or my insurance carrier on your own?

No. You approve every finding and every contact first. For carriers and state agencies, you sign an authorization so we can act for you on the items you've approved, and only those.

How is this different from my bookkeeper or accounting software?

Your bookkeeper records what you paid, and your software makes paying easier. Neither goes back to find money you're owed or chases a vendor to return it. We do both.

What happens after the audit?

Some clients stop at the recovery. Others ask Tarvora to keep watching all four areas month to month so the leaks don't come back. That's optional and priced separately.
